Apparently the caped crusaders little buddy may make his way to the CW. Already hosting shows like Smallville and Supernatural, the CW seems like a perfect home for the boy wonder. During an announcement with Variety the CW said the show would be based around his time before he was Robin. This would mean the Graysons (Robins true identity is Dick Grayson) would be the setting for the show. Obviously being a teenager he would follow in the footsteps of Tom Welling (Clark Kent in Smallville) and be faced with his fair share of teenage problems (i.e girls).
Will this fly? I'm not sure but I'm not overly excited for it. Robin is just really not an exciting character, and given that he's fairly young when he joins Batman this should be an interesting approach. I do however find it funny that they have changed his name of the show to "DJ" instead of Dick. I mean really, give us a little credit, just because someone would be walking around saying Dick all episode once a week doesn't....yeah ok I see your point.
