Prince is a Creep

A couple weeks ago at the Coachella musical festival Prince got paid around $4 million to perform and one of the highlights of his set was a cover he did of Radiohead’s “Creep.” Naturally the cover was recorded on thousands of cell phones and digital cameras in the audience and uploaded to YouTube for the rest of the world to see. However, Prince, being the egomaniac that he is, demanded that any videos of his performance be taken down on YouTube and they were. When Radiohead found out that Prince had covered their song they found it hilarious and found it even funnier that he was getting the videos of him performing the song taken down. Now Radiohead wants the videos to go up because it’s their song and they want everyone to be able to see it.

I hate when musicians start being dicks like Prince is. This is dumber than when Metallica was bitching about people downloading their music. Who do these people think they are? Metallica hasn’t been good forever and Prince is just a weirdo. Furthermore, t isn’t Princes song, so nobody was breaking any copyright laws by posting the video. It just seems like Prince is a dick when it comes to the internet. He even made someone take down a video of their 3 year old singing one of his songs. Luckily, we were able to find one of the videos that were posted. The quality isn’t great but it’s good enough to know that Prince butchered the song.

Back on the Horse

It looks like Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo are giving love another chance but apparently Romo only agreed to get back together with Jess if her freak show dad left him alone. The reason they broke up in the first place is because Joe Simpson tries to run his daughters lives and Romo couldn’t put up with it anymore.

Honestly, I don’t blame Joe Simpson for trying to control his daughters, they are his meal ticket. Tony Romo should worry less about what Joe Simpson is doing and less and worry more about winning playoff games. Honestly, if you had two millionaire daughters wouldn’t you make sure you were as involved as possible? Daddy has to get his cut, right?

R. Kelly is Screwed

Things were looking up for R. Kelly in his trial last week but yesterday after a video expert made a strong case proving that it was R. Kelly in his home R. Kelly’s future is looking a little dark. Also, the other women in the threesome in the video will be taking the stand next week to testify against Kelly.

I was really pulling for R. Kelly in this trial because as a fan of his I was hoping he would be smarter than doing something like this. Unfortunately he looks screwed and I am officially jumping off of the “R. Kelly is innocent” bandwagon, He messed up and now he’s going to pay. Maybe he’ll end up in a cell with a fan and they can bump n’ grind together.
