The Offspring: “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid”

The Offspring have revealed plans to release the video for their new single, “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid”. The track is the second single off their critically acclaimed eighth studio album “Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace”, which was released in June. Front man Dexter Holland addressed the news with the following statement from the band’s website:

"Thank you to all the fans out there that made "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" the #1 song at Alternative radio for these past two weeks (and more to come). Thanks guys!

“You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid” has been a very successful single on rock radio stations, reaching the top of the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. This is the third song from The Offspring that has hit #1 on that chart. Their first number one single was “Come Out and Play” from their 1994 classic album “Smash”, followed by the single “Hit That”, from their 2003 offering “Splinter”.

Oh…YGGFK also made an appearance on the series premiere of 90210. How about that!
