Robert Downey Jr takes on the role of the legendary detective Sherlock Holmes
Under the helm of Guy Ritchie you can be sure that this movie will be two things 1) Very good and 2) Completely different than what you'd expect from Sherlock Holmes. Joining Robert is Jude Law as Watson and Rachel McAdams as the female lead. The cast alone looks great and with the recent success of Iron Man, anything Robert lends his face too seems to work.
With the photos that have been seen so far, the classic "costume" you're used to seeing Sherlock Holmes wear is nowhere to be found. Will we see the classic look? Well I'm sure we will by the end of the movie, but seeing as it's Guy Ritchie I'm sure he'll distance himself from the stereotype as much as possible.
The movie is set to release November 20th 2009.

for some reason, Sherlock Holmes seems like twould be a good movie!!!
