Modern Camping Tepee

The modern, stylish and fully functional "Tepee".

The Tepee was designed for DWR Tools for Living by Dave Ellis, who spent "10 years working in the canvas business before creating his own line of tents and tepees in 1982". This is not just your typical tent, or your typical tepee for that matter. For starters you're looking at $2,200.00 for this outdoor shelter, but you'll get your moneys worth. The 15' by 12' tepee has canvas walls; flame-resistant canvas liner; woven vinyl mesh floor; metal stake grommets and leather tie grommets. The poles used to hold the tepee up are Montana pine and of the finest quality.

If you're big on camping and have a wallet big enough to take the blow this is a great stylish option. Keep in mind this is not the greatest 'bang for your buck' tent available. If it was though, it probably wouldn't look so nice.

Anybody else notice the IKEA style chair in the background? These are some pretty trendy campers.

Lame, we got past carrying around a bunch of logs, and a canvas tarp a hundred years ago. I'll take my Walrus over that any day.

Thanks but no thanks, there is a reason that other designs have replaced the tepee.
